| Instructions |
No-Mar Film is very easy to use, yet offers excellent protection from die marks and scratches. To maximize film life, we suggest that you try the following set-up procedure on your press brake.
- Set your punch and die for bending the metal piece to the desired angle before placing the film over the die.
- Raise the ram setting approximately .015" to allow space in the die for the No-Mar Film to flow. Very Important.
- Cover the lower die with the film. You may wwant to tape one edge of the film to the lower die using the duct, or two-face tape. This will help hold the film in place during a production run. However, the other edge must be free to remove.
- Begining forming. Film life depends on the number of factors such as the type of material being formed, thickness of the metal being formed, type of angle being formed , etc. Watch film for signs of deterioration, and replace when worn.
